Business goals
Decrease number of support tickets, and encourage user's to seek help from the help center.

Problem & background
Siila aims to become the leading app for connecting wellness professionals with consumers, and targets users active in yoga and meditation. Siila provides a platform where professional users can create events and share content for their followers to engage with.
Many of the users can according to Siila's user data be assumed to have limited tech skills, and English as a second language.
My Role
While having actively worked on all aspect of the project, my main contribution has been the work involving user journey mapping, the design system and designing the event creation stage.

less options, clearer choices
After identifying numerous opportunities for the new onboarding experience, we narrowed the scope to selected main issues to focus on. The main issues identified was the overly complicated sign up.

Our focus
Too many options for each step, lack of intuitive design for non-technical users, no clear differentiation between user/professional sign up, and benefits of Siila.
Improvements
We removed the internal jargon for a more approachable onboarding, we removed the fluff and kept only the essentials - the rest can be added later on.
New unique on-brand elements and signifiers; "personalize your space" instead of "finish your profile", "Your universe" instead of "My account".
solution
APPEALING, INTUITIVE AND INTERACTIVE
Our solution focuses on an interactive and intuitive experience, for the non-technical users. Drag-and-drop features offer a gamified experience, that helps the users navigate comfortably.

Solution
The design is at its core scaled down - the sign-up and onboarding is swift, and the user only needs to enter the most essential information, if they choose to. The user can add various sections to their profile based on preference, to keep the light and quick, and to not overwhelm the users.
Prototype tools
Tools used include Figma for creating the design system components, and the prototype base, and Protopie to create the complete, interactive prototype.

bRAND ADHERENCE AND A UNIQUE VOICE
Visual components are based on Siilas unique brand, and mascot Libra is a playful interpretation of the logo and a yoga pose.
